School Context
The Institute consists of two schools, which were once separate and independent
one from the other: Liceo Scientifico “Federigo Enriques” and Istituto Tecnico Commerciale
e per Geometri
“Europa Unita”. It is located in Lissone (Milano), in the north of
Italy, an area intensely urbanised and industrialised. The Institute has connections
with local, national and international institutions so that it can offer articulate
opportunities to the students in the cultural, social, humanitarian and technical
fields. The combination of two different courses (lycée and technical courses) in
the same Institute favours a good competence both for a global development of knowledge,
allowing a more facilitated access to any university faculty, and for acquiring
technical skills - necessary for work.
